Grav., Know the difference between Policy and Polosi? The first is there to protect against disaster, and the latter IS THE DISASTER.

Conagra bought the plants just to close them, got rid of competition, the same thing happened to the rex tv and appliance chain, doubt anyone or anything would of changed their minds

Agreed, Carlaw. Politicians have no party loyalty anymore and neither should we. If the candidate is solid and stands, truly stands, for what you believe in then vote for them. Myself, well I'll be voting for anyone looking to repeal the SAFE Act and change the economic stagnation and strangulation that NY Staters are being beaten with. Good luck and VOTE!

As I've always said, it's not as easy to fool people at the local level as it is with national politics. The folks who vote tend to pay attention. All that "anti-women" garbage doesn't work in local elections.

A lot of the hard working good people who lost jobs are Democrats. Republicans are no longer in the majority in our county but there is a rise in the number of voting unaffiliated voters who vote with their heads. Smart voting makes it look like we have a majority of Republicans. But remember the road goes both ways. These voters have no party loyalty and catch on fast. They understand what Cuomo is about. If the Republicans put up a good strong candidate {not another Paladino} Chautauqua Co. will support that candidate. I have no doubts.
