He is a NEOCON Tea bagger that faithfully attends tea bagin party meetings. He cannot be changed to a moderate Republican which is what we need, reasonable people willing to work for the benefit of the nation not the NEOCons of the tea baggin party the GOP be damned. I cannot and will not vote for him.

"ask reed what he "thinks" about "equal pay for women?" If you dare"I will ask Reed if you ask the White House why their female employees make LESS than their male counterparts, OK?

Obama is your hero. Since you believe everything he says, since you back him no matter what, since you defend him even when he lies (you can keep you insurance an doctor, period), than he must be your hero. Did your "only" hero lie to you? Did you only "hero" spend more of the family's money than he brought in? If not, and if he was your "hero" than Barry must be your super hero!

And I agree with Loneriderr's last post 100%.

I see you can't back up your lie - not surprised. I'll make it easy for you just back up this statement "what is it about Putin that you find so admirable".

Just wondering also. Since you were a "sole proprietor, you must of had an office clerk. Did you pay him/her $10 an hour?

"Remember, there is no more filabuster to cry about. It might not pass the house, but at least Harry would look like a hero and put it up for debate"

Harry would look like he was doing something and look like he cared about the burger flippers who think they deserve $15 an hour. And, if it passed the Senate and not the House, the Dems would look like they actually cared and they tried to do something.

Finally Pitts, care to back up you lie about "your Putin hero worshipping on another site". Still waiting.

OK Sammie, please post my other "praise" for Putin, you keeping throwing the same crap hoping it sticks.

And you sound like Cuomo - "Why don't all of you republicans move to Russia". Yes the very tolerant left like Sammie say "love it or leave it". "Think like I do or you're unpatriotic", "worship Obama or you're a racist". Ah yes, those tolerant lefties.......

Been a busy couple of weeks! Obama unveiled his NCAA bracket and Vladimir Putin conquered Crimea. Guess that says it all.

Sorry Pitts, Reid IS NOT part of the administration. Google Obama's administration and you will see I am right once again. Your ignorance is amazing.

Another untruth told by Pitts. Reid is NOT part of the administration. He is the Senate Majority leader and a Nevada State Senator.

Ok, I'll play Pitts. Reed is evil for not wanting to increase the minimum wage, correct? If that's what Ed and you are saying, why is Harry Reid evil for not putting it on the senate floor. Remember, there is no more filabuster to cry about. It might not pass the house, but at least Harry would look like a hero and put it up for debate.

I hope this follows your rules of "sticking to the subject" Pitts and since the senate isn't too busy right now, fill us in on why Reed is evil, but not Reid.

You're right Pitts, 5 months wasn't enough time to pass such important legislation was it. But now with Harry's rule, filabuster is no longer - just a simple majority - which the Dems have. So what's your excuse now? I'll wait.

I still wonder why this president, Reid, and Pelosi didn't raise the minimum wage when they controlled the entire government. Perhaps the author and gravelpitts could explain that?

Mr. Ed. Is entitled to his opinion but it is always one sided and partisan. He is guilty of the herd mentality he accuses others of having. Raising the minimum wage, Obamacare, leading from behind, and the government owes you everything mentality is destroying our nation. We need to support the few brave representatives who know better.

Someone who can't win for Chautauqua Co legislature shouldn't be attacking our fine US Representative Tom Reed. "The many people who try to live on minimum wage" is such a tired old deception used by liberals. Under 3% of the workforce earns minimum wage, and most aren't adults with families, they are high school and college students. 28 states raised their minimum wage between 2003-2007, and studies by economists from Cornell and American Univ showed no associated reduction in poverty. Many studies have shown that raising the minimum wage actually decreases employment, including among minorities and young people. We still have a weak and barely recovering economy, it would be foolish to hike the minimum by more than $1 right now like many Dems want. Tom Reed is a very intelligent and thoughtful man, and to imply he is like an animal that simply follows the herd is both inaccurate and insulting.
