What happened to welfare reform the biggest part of the budget? What welfare are you talking about? Welfare was reformed back in the 90's. Your arguments would be a lot more effective if you would be a bit more specific.

I can't see how Mr Horrigan's aim to shift Medicaid costs to the state government makes all that much sense. The state's money comes out of our pockets as well. I think there are better ways to get people off of medicaid and paying into their own health insurance, like increasing the minimum wage and making the ACA more acessable.

Hopefully this is just the start of an economic development plan. This sounds like something the city would call solving the problem. Time is getting short and I and others are losing hope and patience.

"We are doing everything we can to market the county to new businesses," The recent sale of the Maplevale building to a NY EXISTING business did nothing to help the economy in Chaut Co. What are leaders thinking? They fumbled away an opportunity.

Money realized from the sale of the county home is in a special fund to reduce taxes or debt. All I am hearing from this article is spend, spend spend. What happened to welfare reform the biggest part of the budget? Is anyone left with common sense???
