you usually need multiple copies of a death certificate to close an estate .sure charge $30.00 for the first one but additional ones should be less much less !

If this article has the correct figures and the extra fees are only for copies of documents, the city is saying that an average of 12 people per day come into the clerks office for a copy of a birth or death certificate. I find this hard to believe.

Get you coming and going. Now the city will get the same rate as I am going to charge them when I die. It's a wash.
