It takes a lot of work and a lot of money to keep a place as good as St Susan's running. I am grateful for all those who contribute their time, energy and money to this worthwhile cause.

Indeed, this example shows again how much people can accomplish when they unite toward a beneficent goal and let go of their petty differences to help those who are less fortunate as themselves. Generous charity is its own reward, they say, and I agree, but I also think it should be highlighted often to remind people that selfishness may seem a good idea in the short term but has hidden costs that will eventually manifest themselves. Let's not forget, what goes around, comes around.

Credence:Certainly not! Your view on "Community Service" IS some what wall-eyed, yet illuminating.I thought it was a 'joke' of some kind; right?Meet me at the Soup Kitchen and I'll buy you lunch and we can sneer at the other idiots.Perhaps you may find an indigent to wax your 'Beemer' for a sack of Bugler and a pint of the surgical formeldehyde you must breathe before posting at times.Despite differences-we are all community-And i believe you to be the WORLDS smartest Idiot. That's all.

Credence:Your deep and tactile humor is wasted here. You should be writing "opinion" pieces for the publishers of the 'P-J'-"The Village Idiot" should make a very appropriate byline.I laughed so hard I nearly chuckled out loud. out loud, out loud, out loud.....
