Loner, Can you tell me why liberals cannot figure out the problem with money? If you are taken in less than you spend (and you are already 17 trillion in debt) the answer is not to spend another trillion point one to try to fix the mess with ins. cos. created by the current blunders. Unless ....unless half of those trillions are ending up in a numbered Swiss acct. Hmmm. Why oh learned one (Loner) can't the liberal mind figure out that more spending will not fill the general coffers?? If you find yourself in a rut; first thing to do is STOP DIGGING! not with liberals though. Why?

Howie... It is very difficult for any of us to divorce "Present" B.H.O. from any healthcare issue. Perhaps you (even in your closed world) have heard that he is currently attempting a total usurpation of every health concern (turning said concerns into much greater concerns). smile. (Oh, yes, and WAKE UP!)

SCALLYWAG, had it not been for your inappropriate statements on the president and your ironic statement at the end about health care I would not have commented as I did. Why, when praising WCA do you have to be so anti-Obama?

I too have had excellent care at WCA and appreciate the many professionals on their team that take care of our community. If you're not a fan, go elsewhere -- nobody is stopping you. Healthcare today is a thankless job -- they are overworked, underpaid, and no matter how many lives they save or restore back to full health, they've got the critics like those who post here...many who probably contribute to their own poor health and expect their local hospital to be miracle workers and make them well when they've self-abused for years. You couldn't pay me enough to work in healthcare -- yet the team at WCA does and I for one am thankful to have a local hospital staffed with many good people -- people who have helped me welcome many nieces, nephews, and my beautiful grandson; people who have helped me say a final goodbye to my mom; people who have come into work in the middle of the night to do emergency surgery on my son, and on and on...Thanks WCA. I too am grateful for all you do.

Actually Howard, both Obama, and Cuomo did try to take his guns. If you remember correctly neither could get enough votes to do it although Cuomo managed to sc--w the law abiding citizens more than Obama did. Obama is still trying though.

Howie I'm pretty sure you goof ball that I have had health insurance every day of my life. My parents were always responsible and I have always had it since I left home. I always thaught it was not optional. I thaught that was what responsible people did. Honestly I never knew it was optional. Oh well I was taught to be self sufficient. What rocket scientist jazzie is dribbling about my comment. I pulled out the whackos today.

I'm willing to bet Scals shops Wal Mart. And if it's just us, why is its name Worst Care Available and Won't Come out Alive? Hospitals are not for profit places, these are healthcare facilities, therefore shouldn't be in competition, like retailers and restaurants are. Whether one has insurance is not the point, if one has an accident or gets sick and can't afford insurance, they should still be entitled to service. They are not selling a service or a product.

SCALLYWAG, you can't seem to get any point across without mentioning that Obama can't take your family or your guns. Has Obama ever said he was going to take your family or your guns? No. Your last sentence is so ironic. "I'm willing to bet actually having health insurance makes a big difference." Does this mean you are for Obamacare so everyone would have the same chance at living that you had? Because SCALLYWAG, without that insurance you (and all those without insurance) would have been stabilized and sent home. What would your chances have been then? It would have been a text to your maker at 3 am. How can one be so grateful for having something yet do so much to deny the same for your brother? WWJD?

The nurses advised me of the new room service policy. All the food you desire any time day or night. Great food. Nurses were excellent we had a great time. Made the family feel welcome. For almost being a dead guy it was an amazing experience. A good time. A good time was had by all. Some good ball busting. I could not say enough about the folks at WCA. So to the people who hate WCA did you ever consider it could just be you. I'm willing to bet actually having health insurance makes a big difference.

The doctors reassured us things would be ok and they would keep an eye on me and return to keep an eye on my situation. At that point the family was satisfied and decided to let me sleep as they went home for the night. At 3am that night I txt little Scallywagette to come and get me. I had been released. Lol. 3am. Don't remember any of that. I woke up to her standing by my bed laughing at the txt with her friend. They figured they would just spend the night by my side. The nurses made the girls feel welcome got them blankets and pillows. fast forward to next morning still alive. That day that was a Sunday. Each of the three doctors came to visit me several times and showed true concern I was treated like a king. Doctors hung around and truly explained my condition. it was a great experience for almost being dead. I awoke late again on Sunday afternoon with one of the doctors seated at the foot of my bed. It was just he and I. We shot the chit about a mutual hobby for almost an hour
