i'm not a member of this particular congregation so my opinion hold little weight. as should the rest of those that don't attend services there.

And what does a steeple serve? It's a cosmetic feature. Jesus wasn't into that kind of thing, if there was a need he didn't hesitate to help, not give money, as long as it benefited others.

lol what an inane comment. the people donating weren't duped. they donated with a goal of rebuilding the church steeple. they weren't collecting for saint susan's soup kitchen or habitat for humanity. i mean c'mon lol.

IThink is right. The funds those people raised could have been better served going towards serving needs where they're needed, not re-building their steeple.
