And what has any of this tripe have to do with the writer's point. To that point, just today, in major newspapers, was a report of a long-term study that calls into question the value of mammograms, both in terms of identifying life threatening cancers and of identifying false positives that themselves cause more harm than the condition. Google the NYTimes and Washington Post for the accounts of this research. Meanwhile, the message might be: have them, but don't take for granted the diagnosis without a lot of further input from a range of specialists.

RealA, how often do you change your sheets at home unless you are incontinent? Try a hotel next time and see how that relieves your discomfort or checks your vitals and calls a MD.

And the last time we were in the ER we were there for 19 hours before they came back with a diagnosis.

Lol birder. Even I can attest to WCA's rotten service. I spent two weeks there and hated it. My bed sheets were changed only once the whole time.

Jamestownite. You need to go to other cities for treatment to appreciate how great WCA and the ER is.

Jamestownite, if you have a myocardial infarction or a stroke, I hope you have friends or relatives that can drive you to Erie. I'd hate to see the professional doctors and nurses at WCA save the life of somebody that thinks they are unprofessional.

There is nothing professional about the hospital. I go to Erie for my health care
