The fire department is right underneath the freakin' tree! When they're not on a call they could lend a hand. Oh, wait, that would take away from their break time and card games. Go get ready for another parade..................

I suggest the whereabouts of BPU Board President, John Zabrobsky and his trolls, Wayne Rishell and Carl Pilliteri be called into question on said evening of highly "secured" holiday tree collapse.

With all the man power being used to plow snow lately, I bet city workers cashed in on overtime to stand it back up.

It is not the fire department's job to put up Christmas trees.

The fire department "couldn't" put it back up or "wouldn't?" They probably would have wanted overtime to do it.

Early evening Sunday, I was out and the winds were blowing in every direction. I felt as if I was driving in a blizzard. Visibility was near zero at times.

I am sure these winds were a factor in the tipping of the Christmas tree. Jamestown DPW will get it back on it's feet. Merry Christmas to all!!!!!
