reg-You're boring enough when you only post once. For the good of the blog, please learn how to work a computer.

Gee, I've ignored this enlightening excahnge. How sad to have missed all this 'content'. All the more reason to wonder why and how these respondents are allowed to register their views without, as the original poster had to, identifying him or herself? What small amount of intelligence is registered in these exchanges? How much learning? How much vile? How much antisocial posturing that this site not only allows but entertains. Why in God's name should these comments be published? What of a positive nature do they advance? What is the role of local journalism to facilitate "communication" that might be conducive to the common good? I blame the editor for allowing this nonsensical situation. If you want, create a website where anyone can converse and joust at their own initiative: these responses are unfair, UNFAIR, to those whose original comments were offered in their own names. Oh, lest I forget, Reed is among those whose views lack substance or relevance.

Why disagree with my last statement? I was stating a fact.

"try not to be disappointed when people don't rise to your bait that a lack of comment equals a lack of patriotism".

monkey-You said you disagreed with credence. Which means you were watching the comments. Why not just weigh in yourself? And, did you disagree with the comments that said it was shameful to steal flags?

Loner, just because I disagree with you doesn't mean you upset me. You are projecting again. Just because you get your undies in a bunch over every single issue doesn't mean everybody else is emotionally invested in every issue. Please try to keep some perspective.

I disagreed when Credence, speculating on who stole the flags wrote "My guess would be the homos......".

Perhaps liberals are secure enough in their patriotic beliefs that we don't need 500 flags on our lawns or feel the need to publicly state the very obvious that "stealing flags is wrong". Feel free to continue monitoring how many people of each party comment on flag letters but try not to be disappointed when people don't rise to your bait that a lack of comment equals a lack of patriotism.

The point is monkey. Letters about gay marriage, abortion, gun control, the tea party, taxes, Congressman Reed, Obama, ACA, etc., etc. the left will come out. But not on the letter about flags stolen from vererans circle. I don't get it. Of all letters not to comment on, why that one? There were even some who disagreed with those of us who said it was wrong to steal flags. I hope you weren't one of those.

There was a grand total of 19 comments on the letter about flags that were stolen from veterans circle in Cassadaga. Most by me, lone and 50's. Go figure.

Over the summer there were two letters out at about the same time. One about gay marriage. And one about the flags that were stolen from veterans circle. monkey didn't comment on that letter, so I asked him on the gay marriage letter if he thought it was wrong to steal flags flying over the graves of veterans. He said that this letter is about gay marriage not flags. Henry H wouldn't answer the question either.

Loner, I'm well aware of your thoughts about me, and every other liberal here because you trash talk incessantly about other posters rather than talk about he issues. Please stop. You're doing it again.

Loner, you are not important enough to upset me. I just don't think you should be disparaging liberal's morals while in the midst of lying yourself.

You can thank Loner for bringing up your old posts. He's the only one who appreciates you. Too bad you both had to misrepresent what was said. Honesty is the best policy.

Bluesman, who are these "many people on the left"? I believe that quote was from Obama. You didn't ask if I love my country, you asked what my favorite country was and when I answered, Loner lied about what I said so, yes, you do make it up.

Loner, please refrain from disparaging liberal's morals while you are simultaneously lying about what I posted. Yes, you did leave it out because it defeated your purpose in trying to make me look unpatriotic. Joe McCarthy would be proud of you!

When you have so many on the left saying things like "For the first time in my life I'm proud of my Country," that makes people start to wonder. So you ask them if they love their country. They don't answer. Which makes you wonder even more. It's statements from those on the left which start this monkey. We just don't make it up.
