Can't recall when it stopped being 4th Army, and even then, I think they kept the "zoo". The riverwalk then was no place for a gringo.

I left there in Jun '63. What more did it become than the med center/hospital. some materiel and yes..C.O. basic training. Fact. I mentioned Jackie. You couldn't because she was a bigot.

What's with you pit? Ft. Sam was the med center and c.o. training. I left six months prior to your Kennedy tour. You deny Kennedy had some distrust of MLK? Jackie's memoirs revealed she didn't like him. You have your own version of History, like all progs.

Were you involved with the intel gathering on civil rights activists pit? You must have been in the medical or intel field. Did you take your basic with the conscientious objectors at Ft. Sam?

OK. Truth. Camelot was phony, and Jackie a very expensive piece of eye candy. None of them brushed the commoners unless for the cameras. Same blue nose attitude you come off with.

Let's pretend Jackie and the media didn't allow such things in their Camelot, and the Kennedys would be glad to have John Lewis as a neighbor.

Berlin crisis, Cuban crisis, bay of pigs...a failed attempt to overthrow a foreign government, failure to save E. Berlin, and brink of nuclear war? Not bad for under three years. Would he allow the Tonkin incident if he lived? Phony zealots and lawyers to steal the civil rights act? Kept baby bro as AG and hound MLK with intel agencies?

Nice comments of remembrance from two ideologues with axes to grind. Perhaps a bit of introspection may be in order, though neither of you seem interested in giving his dogma a moment's critical thought.

For me, the juxtaposition of the centennial of the Gettysburg Address on the 19th and the assassination in segragationist Dallas three days later tells the chilling tale of that time perfectly. Moreso considering the common aspiratoins and shared fate of the two Presidents.

I know that haters have to hate, but can we avoid going down those dark roads again?
