Barone was lying when he said there were no witnesses. He had the only one right next to him! If I was on trial and innocent I'd have F. Lee Bailey, Allen Durshowicz or even Edgar Snyder defend me. I mean, isn't the public defender sort of a last resort job for lawyers? And I would certainly take the stand to defend myself, IF I had an alibi. He had none. It was a very sloppy job of a murder, leaving evidence behind and having it on your person as well.

Its too bad Taglianetti, ruined his life for his ho of a wife. He should have just divorced her and sued for full custody! It seems to me that Reed was no choir boy either! Taglianetti told him to back off from his wife, that you are ruining a marriage and we have four children!I strongly believe that Taglianetti snapped and went crazy!!! All for the thrill of maybe, you might get caught! Adultry over and over! I have no respect at all for the ho. God will give her her punishment! Their children will always suffer for this situation-their mother committing adultry!!!!

I agree with the verdict. The issue I have is he was not a NYS resident. Why should our tax dollars be used to support him in prison. He should be sent back to his home state and serve his sentence there.

mommap,if I remember the law correctly there is always one automatic appeal anyway. Just part of the process.

SuperSeriousSam, yes it can, reminded me of this joke - A three-year-old little boy was examining his testicles while taking a bath. "Mom," he asked, "are these my brains?" "Not yet," she replied

A perfect opportunity for appeal...lack of adequate defense. Makes me sick to think of it, but I see it coming.

I don't know how Barone can sleep at night. His defense was no defense at all. He might as well have said that Reed shot himself and Taglianetti was visiting Panama Rocks and wandered off the path and ended up at Reed's house by mistake. If he walks, I lose all faith in the judicial system. Can't wait to see how he defends those 4 from the Frewsburg double homicide.
