You have to at least play the first half by the book. You can start calling off the dogs in the 2nd half. The Randolph starters have worked hard and should play for a half no matter what the score is. They don't like it either. Their kids would like to play the whole game but can't because the score would be 100-0. Beating a team by 50 when you're 100 points better is not running up the score. And no I'm not fron Randolph. I just understand the game and know the tough spot they're in.

Oh I should have pointed out Randolph called the timeouts while on defense after E'ville put in the third string QB after the injury. So they were trying to get the ball back to score again.

Really Proconserv? I think calling timeouts with under 2 minutes left in the half up by 30 doesn't really constitute not trying to run up the score. And that was right after they took the QB off with a head injury in an ambulance. Who by the way wasn't even the regular starting QB as he didn't play due to injury. Don't get me wrong, Randolph is a terrific team. Sure they could have left the starters in the whole game but lets not get carried away, they were looking to run it up at that point.

Let me also ask, why was that comment so poor? I could have been much harsher and really said something nasty. I will just let the play on the field determine that. Also, I have to say that Curt is a poor sportsman, so maybe you should point your comments in that direction instead?

Let me start out by making it clear that I am not from MG or CL..... It seems to me that every time there is a Rand comment, they are always talking smack.... Can't you just look forward to the next step instead of making comments like this. Poor sportsmanship runs amuck in Randolph. These are high school kids playing sports. To bad a community relies on the success of its kids sports to define itself. Shameful

Brown is a great coach! I like not seeing a team run the score up when you are up 30 to 0 going into halftime. Only one more game before moving closer to another state title. I wouldn't call that game an obstacle either.
