Mr. Whitney, the IDA is not the problem. The problem is That Legislators like you continue to raise taxes in Chautauqua County eg:Refusing to sell The County Home to a reputable buyer and as a result, taxpayers will be paying additional property taxes to support The Home. It's operating at a deficit that's irreversable if it isn't sold to a private owner. You SHOULD BE HELD PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE WHEN THE HOME CLOSES BECAUSE YOU VOTED NO TO THE SALE AND 300+ JOBS ARE LOST IN THIS COUNTY!!!!! You Do Not Support the taxpayers in Chautauqua County. You support keeping The Union in place at The Home that's why you won't say YES to the sale. You are NOT a good representative of District 11.

Whitney has not responded to any of the taxpayers in his district regarding any county matters that are important to the taxpayer. He doesn't return phone calls nor does he respond to any of his e mails. He should not be re elected because he does not represent District 11 in any matter, he represents the views and wishes of The CSEA, Chautauqua Counties Employee Union. Do Not re elect him

Whitney's IDA "reform" legislation is nothing more than a protection of union jobs at added expense to taxpayers.

Again I have to agree with you Madman. The county home is not a great issue with me, there are others that are more important, but what you say about not respecting constituents is true. That's really why we elect people.

This guy is a PUTZ. Why in the article does it not mention he is one of the legislators who cares nothing about what his constituants want, and votes against selling the county home. Never mentions the costs to tax payers each month the home is not sold. This is not what is needed in legislation.
