I don't understand why the prosecution would put her on the stand knowing credibility issues would be brought up. They have plenty of physical and video evidence without her testimony. Let the defense bring her in then use her credibility against the defense. Of course, what do I know.

This guy knew he was toast from the get-go; but he's a controller and the only thing left for him is to drag his wife down with him.

A smoke & mirrors defense. The victim was stalked and murdered! Period!

well because if the prosecution didnt look at the angle that barone is taking they would have charged him with 1st degree murderin the 1st place crimes of passion almost always end in a manslaughter conviction plus they will almost certainly get a new trial on appeal if they loose for the 2 change of venue requests denied

Good Bad and the Ugly, a man is dead at the hands of another, her character means nothing. Choices were made, and he choose to hunt Reed down and shot him at point blank range....

You would think that Taglianetti would at least care about his own children through this whole process and spare them additional hurt by taking this to court and crucifying their mother. I don't care if this woman had an affair with every man she met -- it gives him no excuse, or defense, for driving 5 hours, hunting an innocent man down in his own home, and murdering him. There is no punishment severe enough for this guy -- sickens me that Chaut. County has to pay one cent to defend him; Barone should be ashamed of himself for making this the defense. Who cares what she did? Divorce her if you don't like it. Whole case sickens me.....

What shall we bet Toolman? I'll take that bet all day long. They've got this guy stitched up seven ways from Sunday. Even if they didn't, they don't go through 4 weeks of jury selection, start the trial, and suddenly decide to plea it out. This isn't TV.

Creating a distraction by the defense. It matters not what she did at this point. He killed a guy, that's the bottom line.
