Let's hope the Village officials remember that the Town helped them with the clean up of this the next time they discuss the funding of the police dept and the rec center that benefits the Village residents more than the Town residents.

The Village of Lakewood and the Town of Busti crews have done a great job.

Thank you!

My family was together just after the storm had passed & was grateful it passed over my mother in laws home. Since we had no power or cell phone services we decided to take a walk thru the neighborhood to survey the damage & see if we could help any of our neighbors out. We were amazed to see not only the extent of the damage but also at how much everyone was helping each other out. Whether it was neighbors helping neighbors, or seeing all of the different crews out from Lakewood Fire Dept, National Grid even the individual tree service companies coming around it was an awesome sight to see people helping people. Although the storm was scary(to be sure!) & the damage for some is pretty steep thank goodness no one was hurt & before we know it Lakewood will be back on it's feet again it no time! :)
