Most adults in this area would think you are talking about the type of oranges that you get at them fancy places like Wegmans or Target.

Crazy fine in particular since the current admin wasn't even employed at panama when the errors occurred. The folks that dropped the ball are home enjoying a comfortable retirement.

An outrageous fine by your state for decade old paperwork errors. A very negative approach by the State of New York. Predatory laws that took the state years to figure out themselves ought to balance out with the state taking part of the blame (75%) and the district the rest along with positive reinforcement by "big brother" state officials to make it not likely to happen again.

Have to agree with you fedup. Where was the board of education or the administration on this? Very disappointing.

It's so sad that the taxpayers are left holding the bag for in-efficiency by the School Administration. Where does the State come off by penalizing the taxpayer. They have to be out of their minds! Perhaps they should penalize the District by not accepting any funding requests over and above normal school operations for a period of time.
