It makes no sense at all to close a nat gas electric plt just to purchase from a coal burning plant.

If they have to build a new plant then I'm already against it. A lot of environmental waste that'll end up in landfills.

If windmills are placed off shore all over the country in high wind areas, combined that with hydro and solar we could almost be completely off fossil fuels in the future. But natural gas and coal lobbyist will make sure that never happens.

I'm going to mail my letter with my letter regarding repeal of the SAFE Act. I've had great luck with that. No matter how much sense we make, Albany is going to do whatever they want. Sad, but true.

Not long ago the Sierra Club was speaking out against windmills because they allegedly kill birds. Last Monday they were telling us that we need to divert money from fossil fuel production to build more clean windmills. They don't know what they want.

Good Article, and its true that if they don't build a natural gas fired plant, electricity will come from dirtier coal fired plants in PA. I am very confused why the ALMIGHTY Sierra Club opposes the Dunkirk Plant retrofit ??
