To think that the few corporations who control the news industry are operating on the left is to deny the inherent conservatism they almost always push.

The only news I believe more than 20% is the PBS News Hour.

The biggest impact is the news media. Of course they are big business and controlled by billionaires who own them. It's no accident that of all the TV "news" only one is not in the pocket of the left. At some point it becomes propaganda for manipulation toward personal attacks on democracy, not news coverage.

True leadership in our current political system has been discouraged by the influence of special interest money in our election processes. Until the people of this country rise up and demand that private money, above an amount affordable by the average taxpayer, should be excluded from our political processes we will suffer the injustice and harm caused by the lack of real, visible and accountable leaders.

I agree with a lot of what Mr Hamilton has written here but until real leaders can again join the political process without being subverted by the need to raise exorbitant amounts of funding for their elections, none of them will come to pass.
