July 13, 2013

Again not one Lakewood resident is in this forum showing support of the Adult store. Why hasn't any of these supporters of the endless love offered their neighborhoods or downtown Jamestown or Dunkirk for the store. As far as Mr Spacc every other business in Lakewood - Olive Garden WalMArt, Luv Toyota, Lighthouse Auto and even Mr Shults- agreed to certain conditions to open their businesses and abided by their agreements. By not Spacc Auto not in North County and now not here in the South County. Seems he believes he can do whatever he wants and then starts a campaign that everyone is picking on him. I would almost bet he or his friends are the authors of all the supporting comments.

Taxpayers' money well spent... a lawsuit that would drive a local business owner out of the village.

Does anyone see this as madness???

At the turn of the century, Lakewood was the only non-dry community on the lake. In 1898, at least one tourist (Rudyard Kipling) said a better time was had there than at the Chautauqua Institution.

Now, apparently, Lakewood holds the distinction as the only community on the lake where people don't have sex.

This reminds me of what went on when I lived in NC, a new ABC (liquor) store opened on a busy street just down the street from a church. The church made a stink about stated the kids would want to know what the AND store was but in reality the church members were afraid they might be seen coming out of the store. Sounds like some Lakewood politicians and residents are afraid they might be seen there.

Lakewood "snobs" should take advantage of this store, let their hair down and get some action! They might unwind a little

They have done much damage, for sure, to Lakewood with Spaac and now endless love...Maybe the two stores should join forces and you can shop for your car or your personal needs at one location. Its really ridiculous and proof too much government, to small minded people, running us into the bull pen of disaster and control.

Do they even know there was an adult novelty shop on Fairmount Ave. years ago? It was across from the mall and next to Firestone. Were there any issues? No, of course not. No one was taken in off the street and dragged in and there were no kids allowed into the adult room. Gags Plus was a nice store for the whole family, magic, over the hill and adult. Unless of course you were a prude. I wish her luck and the 400's should take their nose out of the air just a bit.
