LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Village Board has formed a committee to re-examine its zoning code....

Sorry he is a "Director",... for right now. Have to wonder why LRG directors rotate through club officer roles year after year and never resign...while other "non-paying" boards have tough time keeping people on. Bar tenders are career employees. They only take cash and no credit cards. 5000 members and they report making only $650K a year on 990? ...... any accountant/controller sees red flags everywhere. Meanwhile regional crack down on patrons of all other drinking establishments in area causing independents to close their doors. Just look at the number of bars in area now compared to late 80s-90s.

Incorrect : Mayor Wordelmann has never been President of the Rod @ Gun.
Correct: You are responsible till the main connection.
Incorrect: Note - it said Village Sewer Pipes (the village sewer pipes under your property)
Correct: Good idea Google the Mayor and DiSalvo and see for yourself who is and has mislead the people.
Lakewood "Tradition"? Oh yeah...he tradition of making the Mayor president of the Rod and Gun cash cow and keeping the grift of the little lakewood Republican mafia going tradition? Would love o be in that back room when they divide the cash each week.
Sewer pipes under your property ARE YOUR PROPERTY. Every restaurant building project I have worked on has had to put in grease traps and back flow preventers in sewer lines and repair if needed. Google the mayor...and see if he even comes up.
Isn't that why you moved to the village Mr. DiSalvo?? You fooled me once and I voted for you but you will not fool me a second time.

By next week he will be telling us that Pres. Obama has called him for his opinion on Urban Planning in Washington DC. To top it all off the executive director who was DiSalvo bosses boss is serving three years probation for stealing federal funds. He would like to create a little Buffalo City right here in the Village of Lakewood. Isn't that a pleasant thought?
The Planning and Zoning Boards consist of Democrats, Republicans, and long term residents, well educated with a good amount of private sector experience. These two groups deal with these issues, on a week to week basis and will do a great job for the village. The Village Trustees and Mayor have no authority over these two boards. The problem Jablonski and DiSalvo have is that these individuals are independent thinkers and that was something they did not planned on. The mayor has done a great job in keeping the traditions that has made this village a great place to live and as always welcome business. Con't
I agree let’s see who Jablonski and DiSalvo are!!!!
Jablonski is well known as one of the leading antibusiness leader in Chautauqua County. If it had been up to him, Jablonski would have stopped the Olive Garden project. He had requested the project stop until the Olive Garden paid to update the sewer pipes underneath its property. Think about this! You buy property in the Village of Lakewood and you are told that you cannot continue building until you paid to repair the village sewer pipes under your property. Now DiSalvo would not know that since he had never attended a village meeting until he was elected. DiSalvo who worked for the City of Buffalo Planning Department as a Coordinator of Planning Analyzing Research/GIS was never part of the executive team as he misled the voters to believe. In the private sector he would be considered a Data Specialists or clerk. Google him!!! Con't
Wow...isolate and seperate the professionals from the zoning committee..but willing to accept recommendations fom them? Looks like mayor is playing party politics and guarding turf. Makes himself Chairman too to top it off?? Hope people see mayor for who is is now.
It is interesting that the village officials of Lakewood are so smart they know what residents are thinking. Or do they believe that they can tell the residents what to think.
