All the county legislators are asking is that the county be fairly compensated for providing "enhanced" police services to the Village of Silver Creek. "Enhanced" means more protection than is provided to other county residents. This means guaranteed patrols during guaranteed hours in guaranteed locations. In the case of Silver Creek, this would mean a Sheriffs car provided to the village which would typically patrol only the village.
