It is really interesting to me to learn some of the early history of a great company such as the Maddox Table Company. My father worked for them for many, many years before it was sold in 1978. Every day he came home with a story from his day. Such memories! I was under the assumption that the name "Maddox" was a very angry cow as I remember the logo as a picture of an ox with steam coming from it's nostrils. I could be wrong about the logo. If any one knows, please correct me. To this day, I treasure the mirror and desk my dad gave to me as a graduation present. Happy Father's day dad, I miss you!!!! Really nice, solid wood furniture.
