Just an additional note: apparently there were at least three editions of this work, with over 2000 published originally in the U.S. Contemporary reproductions show up online for less than $50.

Sheesh, I wish the reporter had done or related a little more background--other than an online copy/paste. How many copies were printed? What was the latest auction price for a similar copy (a bit more than $3K, if I recall). It's an interesting relic of an era, so I wish there was a bit more texture to the story.

Will Mr. Williams be donating the scroll to an organization that will care and display it? Oh, by the way, is this an advertisement for Mr. Williams enterprise? Looks like free publicity to me.
