Letters to the editor without discrimination? Lady, I myself have written on numerous subjects, haven't gotten published. Their former editor once told me that they only publish ones that they feel the reader would be interested in. I am a reader and would very much like to see my stuff, as well as others who've been turned away time and time again be published.

Why does the PJ always publish this woman's letters? I like the positive stuff. The PJ could publish more on issues - local, state, federal and international - that actually are effecting our lives. After all, there are many out there, like this author, that get all of their news from the PJ.

what a waste of space this letter is. They basically published a little note that says the PJ is doing a good job?

Have to agree with this writer. Since the new editor came onboard, there has been a more positive attitude. PJ, keep up the good work.

Yes, let's print nothing but feel good stories. No wonder the American electorate doesn't know what's going on around them. Forget Fast and Furious, forget Bengahzi, forget the IRS targeting tax payers who don't agree with this administration, forget about high unemployment, forget about the wasted billions on the "green dream" and let's forget about the $17 trillion this country's is in debt. But let's not forget about the upcoming flower show, or Bobby Smith making the honor roll.

the previous editor showered us with 30+ pre-election anti-Obama PIECES--obviously not enough for some......

Glad to sea the dog being positive! If there was a report on how wonderful the weather was, you would be complaining about something.

If there was more positive attitudes around, we wouldn't have to worry about all of your issues.

Lost? Why would people pay good money on stuff not fitting as worm poo? We've never subscribed, especially when we know we can read it at the library.

Have we progressed into all media that is unbiased? We can only hope common sense and respect might have a place amongst fellow Americans..

Jazzie, perhaps the PJ feels the dozens of critical comments you make on every post is sufficient from a non-subscriber to their 'rag.' God help us if we had to read an entire article from you.

To the Editor who has rejected Jazzie"s letters, I say "Thank-you". I subscribe to the journal and save 3-5 times the subscription cost by clipping the coupons that come in the paper. Just last week I went to a Erie store and saved $125.00 on just 1 item with a 20% off coupon.

Seadog, I agree with your May-13-13 12:18 PM post, 100%. Far too many important issues are pushed to the side and forgotten. I'm not sure that this blog would adequately enlighten the subjects, but any discussion is welcome on pertinent topics.

PWU - great news! Now take off your rose colored glasses, don't smell the roses and remember, the glass is half empty. Benghazi, IRS, Holder raiding phone records, unemployment still high, $17 trillion in debt, Americans continue getting killed in Afganistan, Mother's day Parade shot up, 12 year old kills his 8 year old sister, etc. etc. n But as long as things are good at the Cleaver house, I'm happy for you.

PWU--I don't blame for ignoring that post, it lacks relevance, factual content and credibility--it does however give new meaning to the term political hypocrisy.
