Well Said. So many of the 'right' on here seem to be worried about loving marriages that have nothing to do with them.

Lets worry more about dysfunctions in ANY marriage...abuse...child abuse..neglect...

Seems to me, those are more of an 'affront' to 'marriage' than loving gay marriages. Will some conservatives ever understand this?? Probably not. Does it matter?? Probably not. They aren't even able to give a rationale for why they would block gay marriage.

They are an embarrassing, dying breed.

"I find gays to be more honest, fun and willing to duke it out when chips are down as compared to heteros who've been married two or more times????????"

Sounds like this guy's got issues and needs a shrink. But he's right about one thing, divorce is a black eye on all marriage. So-called gay marriage has nothing to do with real marriage though. It's just plain stupid.

Employers who hire servers have it made. They pay their employees a pittance and the employees must rely on customer's tips to provide them with a livable wage. Pay them what they are worth, charge a bit extra for the meals/drinks/etc and forget about tipping or more importantly the servers not getting tipped at all.

God hates divorce, Malachi 2:16. God hates h0mo5exua1ity, Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27. If you don't believe that the Bible is the true, inspired word of God, or if you don't fear God at all. nothing can be written to convince you that same-sex is wrong. I won't waste more time on this subject. Choose your own eternal destiny.

"... who've been married two or more times". Sorry, but anyone who has been married two or more times, with the exception of the death of spouses, is a liar. Did they not say, "till death do us part" in their ceremony?

Personally I think there should be far fewer divorces and fewer yet remarriages. That is irrelevant but I say it for you Forsythe because you are obviously logic impaired. Your attempted linkage of conservative positions on divorce and deviant liaisons is non sequitur and and a tu quoque. Two wrongs don't make a right. If the Boston bombers condemned spitting on the sidewalk, they would still have a point no matter who they were or what they did. I'm more than sick and tired of an ugly and every uglier world and I wish the sodomites would shut up and go to hell.

If your a male waiter and skip to my table call me honey. Throw your limp wrist at me and act like life is a three ring circus I'll give you a tip but I probably won't be back till your gone. Don't need that crap in my life If your gay and act like a normal person I won't even know your a homo and don't really care. So many homos are just begging for attention and will do anything to get it. Some gays are just gay that's life. All homos are attention seeking freaks. There is a difference between a gay person and a homo. Which one are you?

Gays are just seeking attention rather it's negative or not. There would be no need to run around advertising it otherwise. There are plenty of gays that lead a normal life and there sexuality is there business just like normal people. Than we have the flaunters. Spend there life seeking acceptance from the normal folks. This is the attention seekers. Like having antlers installed or tattooing your face. Why else would you do that unless you are disturbed and seeking attention. I'm convinced 95 percent of gays are disturbed people probably goes back to there childhood home life and the actions of there mother. These people will seek acceptance and attention at all cost. The funny thing is the they win over the weak and the weak give them the attention they crave. Sound familure Aj Dillinger

The key to making money as a waitress is working in a good, high quality restaurant. $100/nite is not unusual.

Stay tuned for the attention seekers. It's ok for them to seek there attention fix but it's not ok for normal people to call it the way it is. Why do normal people fight the gays? We want to raise our children understanding its wrong perverted sick not normal Ickey immoral. Your butt was built to get rid of human waste. It's not a toy silly.

50's, we have one poster with four different ids, if he does not like you, he has four "report abuse" button pushes and can get a post pulled single handed.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. If an employer pays minimum then perhaps it's not unreasonable that they get minimum service? If a company is more interested in profits than their employee's welfare then they'll cut other corners to the bone as well which would also affect the service their customers receive.

I've given quite a bit of thought to why some people are so vehemently against marriage equality for same sex couples and the conclusion I've determined is that too many people are unwilling, unable or afraid to change the beliefs they acquired as they were growing up, even when confronted by new facts and analysis of reality. Come to think of it, I suspect this trait defines a majority of those who consider themselves conservative.

Paying attention to social and political change to make sure it isn't arbitrary and precipitous is a good thing, I believe, but resisting change in the face of rational and compelling facts and reasoning doesn't do anyone any goo

Once again troglodyte shows hate and animosity with pejorative slurs and depraved judgments just because he thinks gay sex is icky. I believe attitudes and words like troglodyte's are a greater perversion than 2 men or 2 women who love each other.

I find divorce just as wrong as homosexual activity.

I view people who get divorces in a similar fashion and if they had "divorce" parades and derided me for not agreeing with them -calling me a "bigot" and waving flamboyant "divorce" flags in my face I would tell them they were wrong. If they asked me if "divorce" was wrong I would tell them if it was.

Divorce is a scourge on the family and the culture.

Ah, what do you know..the forum is filled with righties who 'don't really care' lol.

Oh, seadog: "Can you give me the rationale for accepting civil unions but thinking gay marriage should be illegal?"

And Norm, good to see someone who never married and lived with his mom until well past middle age, judging other people's marriages, lol.

And Norm says: "I'm more than sick and tired of an ugly and every uglier world"

Me too. Discrimination and bigotry is ugly.

Yep, this is how I raise my children to feel about hate, discrimination, and bigotry. You know, traits that actually harm others.
