I think that you two are the ones who need to accept who they are. Closets are for clothes.

Wow. He comes here for the titillation? I'd better re-read my posts.

Wow monkeyboy, you've got quite a chip on your shoulders. Accept who you are and move on.

50s4ever's and Seadog's last posts show the reason they are here, sexual titillation. Both responses are juvenile and sexualized and bring nothing to this discussion. Please you two, stop speculating who is gay and complaining about having to read about the issue when you just can't seem to get enough of it. Go buy some p.o.r.n and let the adults talk here.

Aww, jeez, Seadog, I'm sorry if I asked you to do something you apparently find impossible, like considering something rationally. I shouldn't have asked.

"Its like your ought to have a bone to pick with somebody..."

Yeah, I pick bones with liars. You're a big liar because you use things wrongly to justify your lies. Even worse than a liar, you're a deceiver because of that. The problem with deceivers is they have to deceive themselves first. You're so far gone any one of us could be Jesus Himself and you'd still push your agenda.

"In any case, when you read Romans 13, government is to have a very limited role.."

LOL. Yeah, if you read it with an agenda. If you read it like it's supposed to be read, it says no such thing.

"You can't have it both ways."

You can if you either have alzheimer's or you engage in discourse in such a relative manner that you have no coherent message.

"the Bible is not the basis for our government, the US Constitution is"

I wish someone would remind Obama of that.

50s4ever and Seadog, one minute you accuse me of being in the closet and the next you claim I advertise who I like to "do". You can't have it both ways. Have either of you two looked up "internalized homophobia" yet? It will give you some insight into why you are so obsessed with this topic.

Mel, excuse me but you seem to have forgotten once again that the Bible is not the basis for our government, the US Constitution is.

There you go confusing a great society with LBJ's version. Typical prog mistake, actually believing they decide.

50's -your "contributions" on this topic have done very little to advance a "great society."

irony, you sound so much like the guy who was on here before by the name of Michaeltw or whatever. Its like your ought to have a bone to pick with somebody and being indignantly obnoxious about it incapable of politely discussing it. In any case, when you read Romans 13, government is to have a very limited role: keep the peace, uphold justice and punish evil. There is nothing there for it to be involved in everything from housing, welfare, pet projects, education, medical care, retirement, commerce, economic intervention. It serves bascially as a referee, not a playmaker. The Bible says to pay taxes. It says nothing about a prohibition in protesting a system contrary to freedom, fairness and justice. The more liberty under limited government like ours originally the better the more government like it is now the worse: both for freedom and security.

Seadog thinks gays should stay in the closet and not let anyone know they are gay. I believe that if you are a bigot you should stay in the closet and not let anybody know about it. Obviously, neither of us is going to get our way. Seadog also complains about having to read about same-sex marriage and all of the discussion about it yet he is always here, like 50s, complaining about being here. What is your obsession with the issue? Calling Dr. Freud!

50's4evrer says gays are a talkative bunch and they are redundant and irrational. He has complained over and over about having this issue forced down his throat but he is always here making negative comments. That sure is redundant and irrational.

"The bible was written and assembled by man almost 1700 years ago."

"False. The earliest manuscripts discovered last century date to the 2nd century A.D. Only a few generations after Jesus and one generation after the disciple"

So that comment wasn't directed at Mel?

I'm jumping on Mel (omit the Reverend for obvious reasons) for falsely using Scripture for his own needs. The comment by Jazzie was unrelated.

You're wondering because you haven't followed the chronology of the comments. Please, follow along.

"Seadog would you care to have intercourse with a morbidly obese woman or a woman who didn't meet your criteria? It's basically the same principle/concept"

jazzie: it may be the same concept to you, but not to me. With that type of thinking are you saying having sex with a sheep is the same concept?

Remember jazzie - as the sign says "exit only, no entry".
