The current shop was built in 1927 when trucks were about 40 feet long. With a plow, todays trucks are up to 70 feet long. It's awful hard to work on a truck in the blowing snow of winter in the outdoors.

The county has looked into merging with Ellicott and Falconer. The only way to fit them all in one place is to build a bigger new building. There is not enough room in any of the existing buildings.

I believe the County should look into consolidating with the surrounding town and the Village of Falconer. At least do the study. Why have we waited 20 years to do something? Things are not adding up the shop was large enough when they wanted to close Sherman for the summer and move personnel and equipment to that shop. I VOTE NO !!!!
