fedup-I had hoped you would respond in that manner--you see you posted Baucus comments on healthcare. I merely pointed out that mr. Baucus is a business loving senator who does bidding for all the entities I posted , including healthcare, including the NRA, including banks, including the drug companies. You see his coffers should be bulging at the seams,by next years re-election bid. As far as lonerider's advice, by all means do stop your replies--what REPLIES?

Gio- I truly hope you don't continue to go through life as confused as your comments have indicated. What in the world does the NRA have to do with Obamacare? It seems your mind leaps to an entirely unrelated topic whenever you sense your coming out on the short end of the debate. As for myself, this site's purpose wasn't to post a running dialogue but to offer a forum for many to take part, so I will take Lone's advice and discontinue my replies to your comments.

fedup you seem to have abruptly ended your max Baucus news--could it be you discovered as I did, that he received an A+ RATING FROM THE nra--and once addressed an NRA convention? Just thought I'de ask---follow the money right to max's back pocket-2014 is right around the corner, and Wayne is waiting there.

fedup--I enjoy your lengthy disertations on various topics,[birthers--Baucus-healthcare] but they seem to lack substance, and your Q&A's seem to end up merely Q's.

Gladly, fedup, max Baucus-D-MT. loves big business--healthcare industry is big business. Let's look at his voting record--voted against: background checks, import of FDA approved drugs from Canada, prohibiting interest rate hikes for students, labeling on foods/GENETICALLY MODIFIED INGREDIENTS. Max loves big business, health ins. is big business, they pay very well. Do ya think that the gun mfg, the drug companies, the meat industry, banks and healthcare folks appreciate this guy? Anyone, fedup? The "trainwreck" statement could help in 2014.

Back to Obamacare, Gio. On today's news, Sen Max Baucus(D-MT),who led the Senate Finance Committee that submitted all those Obamacare funding proposals to the CBO before they finally figured out how to make it look like it would pay for itself, declared that "Obamacare is a train wreck coming down the track". Would those who declare Obamacare will not raise costs and be a fiscal disaster please respond to this latest bit of news. PWU,Gio,anyone?

Gio, it is a fact that Obama's father was a Kenyan, not an American citizen. It is also a fact that the Constitution states that both parents were to be U.S. citizens. Instead of trying to belittle anyone who mentions that Obama is not Constitutionally eligible to be President,Gio, why don't you inform everyone on what legal basis Obama deserves to be in office. Most Americans used to believe the integrity of the media and at least a little integrity the Democratic Party would have made such a thing impossible. Instead, they put us halfway down the road to becoming a banana republic. And I'm still waiting for one of you Obamaphiles to tell me how any honest person could stop White House tours for schoolkids because there isn't enough money and then turn around and throw a Justin Timberlake-led party for his wife and kids that cost U.S. taxpayers almost a half-million dollars.

Gio, although there is certainly a lot of hidden garbage in the 13,000, and growing, pages of Obamacare that I'm not aware of as yet. Various panels, both government and from the public, have already determined that most college students will see insurance premiums increase between 100% and 200% as a result of Obamacare. The paperwork, necessitated by Obamacare, has already caused most insurance premiums to increase by almost 9%. Unions already given preferential treatment by Obamacare are lobbying to have it extended indefinitely. The $5 Billion slush fund created to subsidize pre-existing conditions has already been burnt through and HHS has put a moratorium on accepting new patients. Medicaid expansion by Obamacare has already caused hospitals to stop treating Medicaid patients and many states have run out of money for Medicaid so that they are no longer accepting new patients. I could go on and on with examples but even you should be able to get the idea if you had an open mind.

Our insurance went up to over $200 a week, they changed companies this year and it is a high deductable plan for the same amount of last years. Can't afford it, it is either that or have no food or pay the bills that we have. The obamacare isn't going to be any cheaper than what there is now, probably cost more money. Would like to see the politians have to pay for what they have and get the same insurance as the rest of us. But wait when those of us who can't afford insurance gets fined, that is crazy. The employers are already cutting positions and hours of part time people so they don't have to provide insurance or benefits. There is alot more in that bill than we all know.

fedup-My comments were directed at howard's statement--only. Health ins rates have been hiked thru no fault ,as yet, of this administration. Your baseless critique of me, personally, is of no interest to me, nor is your comment regarding healthcare any where but in this country. Hopefully that clears it up for you. As far as being "wrong"--I find that most amusing--get educated on this issue.

Gio- Glad to see you leaving seeing as how you've made nearly half the comments with only a little substance, most of which is wrong. Look at the countries that nationalized their healthcare and you'll note that their countries economies contracted as the government pulled more and more money from the private sector to fund the pipedream. The only exception is Sweden which is due to the fact that they spend nothing on a military and they actually protect their citizens by enforcing border security. It's just another policy to encourage illegals to cross our open borders and get free benefits. Why would Obama,Pelosi and Reid do this? Well,Leno said it best, "definition of illegal immigrant is undocumented Democrat".

see dog-your misinformation and lack of knowledge on the healthcare issue is at a boring state. Your childish questions do not warrant a response any longer, and I will not waste any more time and energy to educate you on the issue.

"if the ACA is so wonderful, why aren't Barry, Michele, Nancy, Harry, and the rest of our public servants being cover under it as a show of good faith?"

It's meant to cover the uninsured. Besides, it hasn't been implemented yet so no one has it.

"So even though premiums have gone up since AHCA was passed and it is because of ACHA that they have gone up we can't blame Obama and the AHCA for it? Makes perfect sense in a non normal way I guess. Some just can't believe that the AHCA is the cause of some if not most of the higher premiums."

Another "correlation doesn't equal causation". Besides, most of it hasn't been implemented yet. Premiums would be going up regardless - some big medical and big pharma want a big chunk and why not get it and blame someone else for it? Point the fingers at the health care bill and rake in the dough.

on second thought see dog let's look at your answer--sooo the ins. lobby spent $$millions so that they wouldn't BE UNDER THE "GOV. THUMB." That is ridiculous--they spent, and you know very well, $millions so that they could raise rates at their discretion, could drop anyone, at anytime, would still not cover pre-existing conditions, and also there's the little issue of 18-26, year olds.. That's why they spent $millions....see ya.
