Really?! Another writer's preaching gets published? One without substance? Dang, who needs to go to church...just read the PJ. I dropped my subscription over this kind of drivel. I guess I have to stop reading it at all now.

If that boy scout is belligerent, they are to be stoned to death at the city's gates, Gawd said so.

You know, he's right. I never thought about that way. A well reasoned, well researched, highly informative letter.

Being a liberal, I believe in tolerance and free speech - EXCEPT when it goes agasinst what I believe and promote. That being said, I'll defend todayalice's right to hate gays and call others morons. I just wish he/she would learn to love everyone including criminals illegals. I wish he/she would believe that taking from those that have worked hard and giving it to those that don't is only right. That spending our children's and grandchildren's money and future keeps our party in office. That children do not belong to their parents, but to the community (MSNBC Harris-Perry commentary).

Yes, as a conservative todayalice has a lot to learn about the country and life. As a liberal, I keep asking myself, how has this country existed for 230 plus yrs. based on hard work, faith, defending freedom, the constitution etc.? No matter, my party and I will do everything in our power to change that and make this country the way it should be!

If your God made them that way,why does his book say they are an abomination? If I don't believe in the book, why should I care what it says? I don't like them anyway.

Seadog, give it up. GioAllie is way better at fake party conversion than you. Stick with what you know, bragging about your business and conservative sound bytes.

Granted this letter was short and sweet, it could have used a little more substance. Not to mention it just completely reiterates what was sain on the forum after the original letter. Overall I give it a 3/10.

I think right wing christianist activists are bullying TLBG people, actually. We see it here in this forum as well as everywhere else.

Of course, in their eyes, the bullying isn't really bullying, it's "moral correction" or "hating the sin while loving the sinner." Isn't it interesting how people use religion to justify their prejudices?

boy scouts are a private club that can do whatever they want.

so uh.....

next topic.

If that's true, formerlyphil, then why are all these so called "family" organizations threatening western civilization with collapse, among other things, if they choose to allow gay scouts and scout leaders?

because they prey on fears in the same way gun proponents do. the only organizations threatening western civilization with collapse (that i'm worried about) are al qaeda & a few other (who flung dung in NK, hardliners in iran).

the previous is a link to an article that has nothing to do with the BSA. nonetheless a good read. per usual, remove spacing.

valid points made by the author. & i love love love the hypocrisy from the huff post (left) how atypical lol.

...seem to remember a lot of denying of the author's thesis a few months back from a few of the forums favorites....

when i was a kid i hated the days i had to stay inside & play video games during my summer vacation because it was storming or pouring outside.

now parents make investments in gaming consoles, games, & accessories as one-time babysitting fees.

I wonder if suing this flower shop is considered bullying???

"The State of Washington is suing a small flower shop after the owner declined to provide flowers for a homosexual wedding – based on her religious beliefs.

Barronelle Stutzman, the owner of Arlene’s Flowers in Richland, Wash., is facing thousands of dollars in fines and penalties for allegedly violating the state’s Consumer Protection Act.

“If a business provides a product or service to opposite-sex couples for their weddings, then it must provide same-sex couples the same product or service,” Attorney General Bob Ferguson said in a statement.

On March 1, a longtime customer asked Stutzman to provide flowers for his upcoming same-sex wedding. According to court documents, she told him that she would not be able to do so “because of her relationship with Jesus Christ.”
