Stir, twist and spin it, facts still say the home should still be sold!

Yet Mrs. Harvey was one of the leaders in crucifying Mr. Rothner because his name appeared on the ownership list of some of his fathers one star rated nursing homes. You can't use the data both ways.

Mrs. Harvey and her husband are the propaganda makers that created 2 misleading "documentaries" on the county home. The misleading statements continues in this editorial. The cost saving measures recommended by CGR are being implemented at the county home. The only exception to that are the union concessions. The CSEA's 11th hour offer of concessions was nowhere near what CGR recommended and also came with several strings attached.

The union concessions recommended by CGR account for about 60% of the suggested savings. So the ball is in the union's court to complete the CGR recommendations. The silence is deafening.

Even with all the savings recommendations fully implemented, the county home would still be losing money and the gap will continue to widen as reimbursements continue to decline.

"Government funding favors not-for-profit homes over public homes."

Maybe that's because the private not-for-profits are run better and more profitably than the public homes. Sell the d a m n home.

It is of greatest importance that our public officals are honest and not misleading us the taxpayers. Hoyer, whitney and cornell have mislead and have been not doing the taxpayers business. They are the ones that need to be voted out of office in a November. Remember whitney, cornell and hoyer.

The Harveys continue to believe that State and Federal money is free and does not come from our taxes. NYS has given grants to Not for Profits to allow them to offer lower cost senior care that lowers our medicaid expense by double the grant investments.

The NYS Insurance dept. needs to start a fraud hotline so people can more easily report fraud and abuse by the thieving Doctors, hospitals, and senior care providers.
