To go door to door for the purpose of confiscation from law abiding citizens, is uh, suicidal at best. I would hope common sense prevails and all would say "Take this job and shove it"if superiors give that order. I certainly would! The "Tip" line i would say definatley unconstituional at best, matches Herr Cuomos Gun Law too.

I believe that from every thing I've researched so far on this bounty issue that it is actually illegal!Sooooo what I'm asking is if there is a law firm,or lawyer ready, willing and able to pick that fight? Look large and aim small, the target will be hit after much practice! This is the path our so called voter reps. take as they slowly wittle away at our bill of rights. If it's a fight they want lets get this party started.Patriot, you are right, they are on our side until their superiors tell them they have to follow orders. Then they will have to make a decision as to follow orders, or stand up for law abiding citizens.I can only hope that they will do what is right, and defend the law abiding citizen. I'm of the mind set since he wants bounties on law abiding citizens, then why can't all of us law abiding citizens get together and do the same? If it's deemed illegal, then he would have to stop his illegal activity also!!! Let's beat them at their own game!!!!

Iagree redbird lets get it done to split this state im more than willing to go the extra mile for that and resisting tyrant leaders. However the Sheriffs in this state are opposed the Safe Act and refuse to enforce it based on huge constitutional issues, long story short Sheriffs and other LOCAL Law enforcement are our true friends!

US Constitution protects from unlawful searches. An anonymous tip is NOT probablr cause. Once again, Cuomo has unconstitutional policy. "...SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"

do all of you feel compelled to fight back? Here you go,all those that know a, or live next to a state tropper or a sheriff have your cameras ready get pictures of these individuals coming and going to the shooting range with there assault weapons or any weapons for that matter, and flood the tip lines.Impeachment proceedings need to start NOW!!! flood your state reps with e-mails,letters,phone calls AND DON'T LET UP!!!!!!!! Lets band together, and with determination we will persevere! I've said it many times NYC AND THE SURROUNDING COUNTIES NEED TO BE THEIR OWN STATE. The process starts with us. I,m right now getting the procedures to follow for that to happen. All of you start screaming taxation without representation. A rally must be formed. Question authority at every turn. FREEDOM,FREEDOM,LIVE FREE OR DIE TRYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the left says "you guys are crazy. this isn't nanny state. this isn't totalitarian. this isn't the 4th reich."

the right says "the left is correct. it is none of those things. yet. & we will ensure that it will never erode to that point."

the left will call the right paranoid but secretly they appreciate us, even though they can never admit it, because when the feces hits the fan the left will line up......BEHIND US!

The only free enterprise growth industry in New York is cigarette smuggling now. 14.50 per pack in NYC, the mob has never made as much money as they do now as semi loads arrive near hourly in the Empire state from West Virginia.

The communist CUOMO is up for election again in 2014. You all know what to do then and remember why the taxes are so high, businesses fleeing the state in record numbers.

New York state does not have a law that will allow it's citizens to have a recall election of it's elected officials. A recall law in New York state is long overdue. While calling your representatives regarding the SAFEACT, also demand they pass legislation for recall elections. We, the citizens of this state need recourse when our representatives(I use the term loosely)pass laws that violate our Constitutional rights.
