I have no particular gripe with the poor. However, though mostly symbolic, I think it is refreshing to see working middle class and upper middle class families get a break that this time nobody else gets.

Until the state has a budget surplus, there shouldn't be any rebates. And how in the world can anyone justify a rebate for $300K! Must be the figure needed to include those NYC lawmakers. Only in a state run by Democrats could this happen.

$350 for families with one child and making a household income of $300,000 while a single senior goes hungry because of Meals on Wheels cuts. That is what is twisted!

Rebates? Am I missing something? They're talking about cutting medicaid for the disabled, cutting school funding and imposing more crushing mandates. Where is the money for these rebates coming from?

just in time for election buy a vote, the state is broke now like Obama's first term give money away it does not have. Would help more stopping welfare mandates to counties and cut welfare roles restrict for emergency help only once every ten years maybe.
