I give the Mayor alot of credit for continuing to speak out and lead on this issue, especially as a Democrat.

Actually, it would be nice to see a few fellow Republicans showing political courage and "walking the walk" where it comes to Binding Arbitration and mandate relief.

They seem to be long and loud on calling for tax relief, but silent when it comes to the mandate relief reforms necessary to cut taxes.

Perhaps they are affraid of ruffling the feathers of the big union special interests.

I know the Mayor said that Cathy Young and Andy Goodell are with him on this issue. It would be nice to hear and see it directly from them however.

something needs to be done people will not be able to afford the taxes in new york. NBS you must be one of those workers in the arbitration that they are talking about by the response you gave
