Nate, You hit the nail on the head. Problem is there are very few farmers in Albany, and none from New York city. Any money coming to upstate has to first be approved by the tyrants from New York city who believe that dairy products come from the grocery store, and most don't even know what a cow is!!! Cuomo and his dog and pony show will once again blow an opportunity to help upstate prosper. He and his constituents still, and will continue to resemble the south end of a north bound horse. At one time New York states biggest and best industry was farming. I to grew up on a family farm and watched the state and federal gov'ts regulate them[small farms] right out of business. Until we get some leadership who truly have some commonsense about the importance of family farms,we will continue to see the dog and pony show, and all the political spin that comes with it!!!!
