Heavenhelpus, You just can't make a point without a personal attack, can you.

Sometimes we label things we do not agree with or understand as"negative". The whole point of blogging is to share ideas. All kinds of ideas and opinions, not attempt to shut people down who don't share our views. We get enough of that with the mainstream media.

This gang up to shut up, or bullying people who express an opinion usually doesn't work. It's more fun to make your point, not attack others, and move on.

As to your blogs I can't remember one single one of them, so I can't say that you have muddy up the waters, but if you did, that would be ok by me. That's your right.

@HenryH...I hear you; I do love to support and eat at the little places that make the communities great. It is those places - R&M, Dick's Harbour House, McMurdy's to name a few ~ that have delicious food and a warm atmosphere. It is good to see ANY new place come to the area. I, too, hope the little guy continues to succeed and stay in business and I support them by eating there often.

@ Carlaw - no one is hiding behind anything - but I believe life is better when one focuses on the positive. Yes, I know there is welfare and food stamps ~ I am a hardworking citizen (40 years at the same employment and thankfully w/o ever being laid off). I just choose not to muddy up a blog with negativism.

Hey, have a nice day all.

Go S u c k eggs folks! Sorry to disappoint you, but it's great to be me, Carla Westerlund. personal attacks against someone for having an opinion just shows how hard it is for you to be you. If you couldn't hide behind a blog name you would have nothing to say.

Khulumz. was only commenting on the general economic conditions of the area and injecting some humor and so was I. HenryH is actually right on the money. Formerres, eagle64, and Heavenhelpus (new bloggers? or just new names to hide behind?) In any case, sorry you are so shaken by my comments. I'll be watching for your cogent comments from now on.

Sad. With all the local eateries which have better food, we are excited about standardized and mass produced food. Patronizing restaurants like this only continue to erode our local economy. The profits from this highly profitable food leave the local economy and are not reinvested. My local citizens, please don't rush to send your money away. Support our local businesses and embrace local, quality food.

"do they take food stamps?" No, it is prepared food. BUT, their welfare regiment includes a cash bonus. Have heard it many times at the register. "Would you like cash back on your EBT card?" Not to worry, they are using it for things besides dining out...

I've enjoyed the Olive Garden sites in Blasdell and Cheektowaga. Last October I went to the Olive Garden in Charlotte NC, near the NorthLake Mall. The interior was ladi out quite differently from the others. Can't wait to see what Lakewood will look like. Soup, Salad and Breadstick lunch, alright.

I understand and respect freedom of speech, and I'm going to use it here - it must*****to be Carlaw and Khulumzurug....never a positive thing ever comes out of their keyboard.

I'm looking forward to enjoying this eatery.

And what about cell phones? Hopefully they'll allow those so people can use them inappropriately and annoy others trying to dine quietly.
