Nazi Germany, communism, socialism, fascism - all the hysteria-producing buzzwords of the right-wing and still no solutions for gun violence. Before you new-found lovers of mental health treatment start in on that, how are we going to pay for the treatment and/or institutionalization of all the mentally ill in this country? Health insurers have traditionally not wanted to cover mental health and have been pretty successful at avoiding it.

Here is a little something to take a look at. "Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who resist us have been totally disarmed". Quote from Sara Brady chairperson of Hand gun control international. Here's one word that describes what happens when that day comes,HOLOCAUST!!!!! Here's a quote that shows this to be true. "This year will go down in history. For the first time,a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more effective, and the world will follow our lead into the future" Adolph Hitler 1935. Can't get much more obvious than that can it now?

When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes a duty! We must question authority at every turn!!! "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere!!!! Martin Luther King JR.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude, better than the animating contest of freedom,go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms.Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.May your chains set lightly on you,and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen" Samuel Adams the father of the american revolution. Again are you a loyalist or a patriot???????

What does Pol Pot,Hitler,Stalin,Cuomo, and Amnesty International all have in common? GUN CONTROL!!!! We have to ask the question when do we see the confiscation of firearms start, and soon after the killing of innocent law abiding citizens begin? Those of you who believe that this would never happen, just might be a socialist/liberal. OR JUST A PLAIN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!

And what purpose could the use of blanks in a gun that's used for personal protection possibly serve other than to "warn"? The problem with that is that it's illegal to discharge "warning shots" in NYS! (Wouldn't you think that Silver would know that?) If "hair plug" Joe Biden's wife took her 12 gauge double barrel out on the balcony and let off two blasts, as the "V.P. of National Self Defense" has recently suggested , she'd end up in jail if she where in NYS! Well maybe not the wife of the V.P., but you and I would for certain.

I hate to say it but I bet if elections were held today for all elected officials, many would pull the handle for O and the clueless elected sheep all over again. Just beyond clueless and braindead. Next stop tyranny central.

The penalty for crimes committed with a gun should be so severe that no one would ever think about using a gun to commit a crime in the future.

Cuomo is not the brightest bulb in the pack(his father was smart) and he got where he is on his father's coattails and a lot of stupid voters. Now that he has been elected, he believes he knows better than us, the people who he presumably serves. Wonder if he was an admirer of Hugo Chavez? Sure acts like it and in the State of the State speech, he sounded like he's an admirer.

Gun control is not, never has been and never will be about reducing violent crime. It is simply a tool of political advancement whereby career politicians stand on the backs of the victims of criminal activity to push an agenda of public control. Do not be a willing advocate for giving up your rights.

This isn't going to stop the crimimal from getting guns. Just more laws to run your life, pretty soon won't be allowed to do anything. Don't want him from president, he will do the same thing to the country not just NYS.

on state sight all shotguns/rifles/pistols or muzzle loaders with detachable clip, thumb hole telescopic stock, barrels with suppression fire , and list goes on, are now banned unless registered, this covers many guns except Bidens double or single shot shot gun unless they to have cosmetic improvements, same as Germany in 30's , history repeating pre WW2

My words repeated in several threads. They will continue. THE COMRADE CUOMO MANIFESTO is BS of the highest degree. It will accomplish nothing except anoint him as the knee-jerk-political-agenda-look-what-I-did-slammed-in-legislation-NY-led-the-charge-soulless-SHEEP-wanna-be herder. JOKE. NY State surely will be up for the 2013 clueless state of the year award. 2A = PERFECT AS IS. Stock Up, Load Up. STAND. Sheepville : NOT an option.

To give you some idea as to how "gun ignorant" some of these politicians are, Sheldon Silver is now being quoted by other sources in saying that maybe the law could be changed so as to allow the use of three "blanks" in combination with seven live rounds (total of 10 rounds in magazine). How does this fool not understand that "blank" ammunition will not function a semiauto system unless the gun is set up with a "blank firing device" or otherwise altered as with a TV prop gun?! This is a prime example of the flawed "thinking" that went into this law.
