‘Will Of The People’

Our Country is a Republic. We elect representatives to manage government. It is not mob rule. If you are disappointed get involved and run for office. Can government be managed better? Absolutely, but it is not run by the will of the people. It is managed by elected officials.

No, Cuomo has not indicated that there will be "modifications", in his words, only technical adjustments. He has absolutely no intention of removing the portions which so many have objections too.

Why? I do not know, but our founding fathers wanted citizens with GUNS, over peasants with hay forks, if things went bad for them. Just a thought! You do realize 99% of what is coined as "American Spirit" has some mention or image of a "gun".?

What we need is a process by which we can oust politicians from office when they try to pull stunts like this. We do not need more gun laws.

"The whole act does not need to be rewritten, but there certainly needs to be some modifications." Cuomo has said almost this exact same statement. Everybody gets into an uproar but pays no attention what is going on.
