whoareyou, you obviously dont know Sirianno, or the situation when he took it over. Sysco was leaving and also closing their Cash & Carry. Sirianno took it over to try to save at least a few jobs at the time. The economy and tough competition of Maplevale across the street is why Cash & Carry is closing. If you dont know what you're talking about dont post a comment!!!Sirianno is a great businessman, but knows when to get out if something is losing money! The grocery market is extremely tough!

I guess whoareyou didn't understand the article. It looks like he leased the building for 5 years and has it sold. Sounds like good business to me. I agree with falcon6, i know he tried to keep it afloat as long as possible but Maplevale moving in was did it in.

whoareyou must have worked for Sirranno at one time. The people who were running it were as lazy, clueless and had no customer service.I stopped buying there because of them.

whoareyou,"the rink"? No overhead for employees, payroll taxes, workers comp insurance, etc. and over 100 tenants. Whats your excuse for not understanding that. Do you have any clue whats going on for business owners in NY State? He's ahead of the curve. You should stick to the one thing you were trained to do in life if you can fine anyone that would hire you.

whoyouare needs to learn how to read. Sysco was closing cash and carry 4 years ago. Sirianno is the one that kept it open this long. And for your information he had a manager with 30 years of grocery experience managing it for him. So obviously you know nothing about the situation.
