Fantastic crowd!! Left my house a little past 3 to catch a bus out of Buffalo. As 1laona said a well mannered crowd in excess 0f 10,000. Actually saw people picking up trash - NOT leaving it as in other types of protests. Our driver said he'd never seen a crown like this one. Women, men and kids. Many in warm field gear, but also many in suits, ties, etc. State police were very helpful, including the mounted patrol. Definitely supportive of our stand. Back to Buffalo about 7:30. Thankful I have a boss in Chaut County that also supports the effort and was happy I wanted to go and let me adjust my schedule to do so. Was in Mayville the night before, I was in an overflow room - place was jammed. And 3 actually supported the move against our Rights as stated in the US Constitution. Can they be so shallow in their thinking that the 2nd Amendment was written to allow our Founding Fathers and their families to hunt deer, pheasants etc vs. King Georges tyranny............

BIG crowd, media came early before alot of the crowd arrived.Wall to wall and very loud.Great time-was nice to see so many supporters.True count will come out about 10,000.More than 100 buses from gun organizations, doesn't count clubs and alot of families that drove there. All the Troopers were good people, seemed on our side.

Thousands of opponents of New York's new gun control law gathered Thursday at the statehouse to lobby lawmakers and rally against measures they say infringe on their constitutional right to bear arms. "They say"? They are not just saying it, it is a fact.

Cuomo said " don't need 10 rounds to kill a deer..." It is NOT the Bill of NEEDS, it is the Bill of RIGHTS.

"extra state troopers were on duty"...what does that mean? Is that just to show the bias of the writer?
