This letter as well as the idea of an end run would not be in play if Hoyer and the other obstructionists were were not placing their agenda above the people. I am kind of surprised that Lori and Tim would choose this issue to be " a hill they want to die on". In fact, the sale of the home hurts no one, including the residents.

I oppose any laws that decrease accountability and visibility in government. I think Mr Hoyer is right.

These resolutions aren't just about the county home. They will remain in force after that issue has been settled and will promote conflicts of interest and shady dealing without any public accountability. The issue is much farther reaching than just one sale.

Mr. Hoyer, You seem to speak with forked tongue! You have continually chosen, since your election, to disregard the wishes of the people that you represent! You are not an asset to The County Legislature because your views do not represent the views of the People in your District. The Resolutions need to be passed to give the voice of the people back to them. Many of your decisions are Biased and Unfounded, as are those of Ms. Cornell and Mr. Whitney in regards to the sale of The County Home. The size of the County Legislature is Too Large and it's almost an impossibility to get a majority vote for a proposal. Hopefully you will Lose the election in November and the people in your district will be given back their voices and will be represented by someone who respects and acknowledges their views.

Cornell continues to talk about wm rothners family businesses and completely ignores wm rothners homes and their 4 star ratings when cornells county home is a pitiful 1 star. This is a prime example of a person who misleads and lies to appease her own personal ideology at the expense of the taxpayers of Chautauqua county. Cornell is not fit to be in any public office.

Re: sueanne's comment, I would like to include Mr. Whitney Mr. Hoyer, along with Ms. Cornell, are ALL Prime Examples of Legislators who mislead and lie to the taxpayers of Chautauqua County, to achieve their own erroneous goals. They are all egotistical, self serving individuals, who do not represent the voices of the People in their District! That was an excellent comment.

Where does this guy get his ego? Trying to protect the citizens? From what, legislators like you? You do not speak for me or many of the citizens in this county so stop trying to.

I am referring to all of sueanne's posts and he does have a narrow interest in nailing and harassing certain legislators. You don't remember any of those comments? Really? Some were so bad they were removed. I don't remember which. Well we shall see next time.
