I couldn't make it either 50's but followed it very closely on the radio. But I would suppose that according to the left this doesn't show the will of the people. But only a moron would believe that.

Great rally.loneriderrr1's count(10,000)should be close. We went through the building and bypassed the Legislators offices(because Cathy Young and Andy Goodell voted againt it)to go right to the Park.Nice people,State Troopers were very helpful and seemed to be on our side.Had more speakers than originally planned so some had to leave to catch their buses. All were good speakers, one Mom that had 3 sons in the service and a husband(Vet,law-enforcement)who had served gave a very moving speech.

bi-partisan vote--bi-partisan. What don't you righties get? A universal background check is on the way, with another bi-partisan vote, and Wayne's $$$$$ can't stop it.

Did you see the rally in Albany today. 8000 to 10000 strong at least. Peaceful very unlike OWS. This is a real living example of the will of the people. All pro gun and anti unSAFE ACT. That is the will of the people. Not what Obama and Cuomo want.

What does it take to make a person think he speaks for the people

what about "the will of the people[majority]" don't you understand? You can hurl all your childish insults at those of us on the side of the majority of Americans who demand action on gun violence--that will do you no good. Universal background checks will soon be the law of the land--get over it. And the NRA can't stop it.

So Bloomberg is proud of being a blooming idiot. Sounds like most liberals on here.

unlike the undocumented dollars flowing into Wayne's coffer, Bloomberg is proud of his position, which happens to be shared by the majority of Americans.

"Michael Bloomberg isn't the NRA'S best friend." I had to give piit an agree for two reasons 1) Bloomberg is a blooming idiot that hates the NRA and gun owners 2) He seemed so desperate for one with that comment I felt sorry for him. And thank you 50's for the well wishes.

bear-- I just noticed the baaaa-ther thing again, do you plan on getting much more mileage out of it?

bear-"insult?"--I merely responded to you and laona who directed comments in my direction--I fear if I quoted you again, it would hit another "nerve." Please don't blame me if the gun violence and NRA topics are not going well, it's the will of the people, you know.

Allie, a little tip, if you want to try to insult somebody, at least come up with your own words. It's just sad. It really is. You can't even come up with an original thought for that purpose, much less the topic of discussion.

bear and laona--din't get your "knickers" all tied up--this forum was estsaablished for the exchange of opinions--I stated my opinion on Wayne's World. and gun lobby money--I didn't ask for agreement from anyone--I'm actually not at all interested in your opinions--when you all have one.

Allie, please provide even one shred of evidence that you have the slightest idea what this discussion is even about. Your ramblings are straight out of the liberal talking points being put forth by every card-carrying lib pushing to control the public. They can't possibly promote self reliance or responsibility for one's own actions, but they can certainly tell everyone else what they should or should not have. If you're so willing and eager to shed your liberties, feel free, but don't baaaa-ther to ask us to follow suit.

Rider, did a quick look up on the screen name and the most flattering thing I could find is that it is "characterized by a post-anal tail". Not where I'd go for a username but, I guess, to each his own.

follow the money--right to Wayne's feet--it's all about money, gun sales, ammo sales, kids gun videos- not the constitution or 2nd ammendment or "please don't take my guns etc---" it's the $$$$$$$$$--just follow it.

Phary, unless you have an unbiased source to provide for your numbers, I'm going to call BS on them. From your comments, I simply cannot believe that you have any first hand knowledge of firearms whatsoever. First off, for many years now, pistols have been far more popular than revolvers. Go to a gun shop, you'll see. With that said, almost all are 10 shot in NY and higher elsewhere. With "long" guns, it would split by category. Shotguns and older rifles are usually under 10. All modern sporting rifles are 10 in NY and higher elsewhere. With millions upon millions of the modern rifles being sold, there is no way you could be accurate. And the "we have to do something to protect the children is an old an tired argument. Using children to promote a cause is despicable (hint: Cuomo). The reality is that we have over 9000 gun laws in this country. Enforce them vigorously with no pleas and no early release. NO NEW LAWS NEEDED, NO INFRINGEMENT!
