"The Buffalo Billion plan will go directly to the Buffalo region. However, according to Teresi and Edwards, the impact of the initiative will also positively affect Chautauqua County.Even though we're not eligible for any of those earmarked funds here, the thought is that in Jamestown and Chautauqua County and Olean and Cattaraugus County, it ultimately works to our favor, and it has benefit to us to have a strong, growing, revitalized Buffalo-Niagara region," Teresi said. '"Nobody will deny that Jamestown and Chautauqua County are definitely in the orbit of the Buffalo-Niagara region from a variety of standpoints. Our portion of Western New York cannot grow to its potential if the heart of the region is dying on the vine. We are supportive of this." Who speaks such foolish words as Cuomo must borrow 60% of what he spends from China or other loaded flows since the Taxpayer’s of NYS are tapped out already with the Cuomo mandates?

I hope there is a true benefit out of this for WNY but one sure thing is that this program creates yet more public sector jobs in a state already overflowing with them.

Actually renaldo, look at the current process going across the state. All of these new initiatives are contracts that pay "workers" very little. Yep, let's create new jobs and pay crap!

This is new, initiative and happening all across the country thanks to the stimulus money. When all is said and done it will put America back on top. (And all of those new workers will have safe bridges to cross on their way to work.)

I see the first thing they will do with the money is build a "State of the art faculty". Now that makes sense as there no empty buildings in Buffalo that they could use. That will make the Unions happy as they will collect 2 or 3 hours of pay from everyone of the people work on the construction. After all the money has been spent on a new building, maybe Cuomo can borrow some more of our children's future to continue..
