Tmmy, You have great ideas which are supported in so many venues. It seems so simple but too many just don't get it. The difficult thing is getting morals and positive values into the minds of citizens. Of course that has been seriously curtailed because we will be scolded if things such as the Ten Commandments are alloowed in schools and many government locations.

I have yet to see anything in our formative years as a nation that questioned the right to bear arms. If there was no question about it, why is there a 2d amendment? Same reason as the rest of the Bill of Rights. They wanted nobody in power to decide such a thing for partisan or personal agenda.

"hide behind the constitution" Why would any American citizen not want to "hide" behind the rights granted to all citizens by the Constitution? Does the media do this everyday? Doesn't everyone "hide" behind it when they exercise their freedom of speech? What idiot wouldn't use the Constitution to protect their rights and freedoms from those who would like to take ANY of those away? Unbelievable that anyone would want to stop citizens from exercising ANY of their Constitutional rights.
