Another words anyone who limits or agrees with limits to any part of the Constitution or the Bill of Rights is a piece of garbage that doesn't care about anyone but themselves and their party agenda.

"patriotic gun makers" know that if you attempt(or allow others) to limit the 2nd Amendment in anyway at all that you will also attempt (or allow others to) take away other rights and freedoms and they are trying to prevent that as much as they can. Unlike those willing to give up other peoples rights and/or freedoms because they don't agree and/or like that one.

you all heard it here--a plan to withhold weapons from "law enforcement"[that'll teach them] somehow equates to the constitution and the bill of rights--can you all say-"I don't think so?"

Because it was on EFI, LLC's website. And they are not the only patriotic gun maker to do so. They seem to believe the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are there for a reason. And that reason is not to appease a bunch of liberals who are afraid of an inanimate object.

why don't Wayne and the gun manufacturers teach the military a lesson ALSO? Oh yeah, that's a much bigger contract. Why would anyone want to post that story--2-16-13 @ 11:23pm?

another brilliant remark from Wayne's world[11:23pm on 2-16-13}. Does the sheriff's assoc. support that little gem--teaching law enforcement a lesson? Why even post that story?

"The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms. Law-enforcement agencies are typically exempt from these restrictions. EFI, LLC does not recognize law-enforcement exemptions to local, state, and federal gun control laws. If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction. California EFI, LLC has registered with the DoJ CFLC program and we will sell any product that we legally can to the public. We will not, under any circumstances, sell any of our products to law-enforcement or state agencies until the California legislature repeals the gun control laws that have been enacted, as these entities have lobbied in favor of statewide gun bans. "

"EFI, LLC will not sell anything to the following local government agencies until their firearm and/or magazine restrictions have been repealed: City of Chicago, Illinois New York State Washington, DC " And this is just one of seven companies all saying pretty much the same thing.

Hammond, with the coming sequestration (I just notice how close that word is to "castration"), we will no longer have a potent military to defend our borders (not that there's any defense on our southern border) so it will be up to the militia to defend our land.

Why do people always say that the militia is no longer needed because we have a military? Our military is run by the government, the militia is run by the people, to be a check on the very government who runs the military.

"One witness, Suzanna Gratia Hupp, told the senators of being in a cafeteria in Killeen, Texas, in 1991 when a gunman smashed his truck through the front window and fatally shot 23 people, including her parents. Hupp says she left her gun in her car because Texas law barred her from bringing it into the restaurant.

"I don't view myself as a victim of gun violence," said Hupp, now a Texas state official and gun rights advocate. "I view myself as a victim of a maniac who happened to use a gun as a tool. And I view myself as the victim of the legislators we had at the time who left me defenseless." From someone who really understands the need to own and carry.
