you all heard it here--a plan to withhold weapons from "law enforcement"[that'll teach them] somehow equates to the constitution and the bill of rights--can you all say-"I don't think so?"

why don't Wayne and the gun manufacturers teach the military a lesson ALSO? Oh yeah, that's a much bigger contract. Why would anyone want to post that story--2-16-13 @ 11:23pm?

another brilliant remark from Wayne's world[11:23pm on 2-16-13}. Does the sheriff's assoc. support that little gem--teaching law enforcement a lesson? Why even post that story?

Hammond, with the coming sequestration (I just notice how close that word is to "castration"), we will no longer have a potent military to defend our borders (not that there's any defense on our southern border) so it will be up to the militia to defend our land.

Hammond-there was a time of innocence (or blissful ignorance) I didn't think that. Not now.

Why do people always say that the militia is no longer needed because we have a military? Our military is run by the government, the militia is run by the people, to be a check on the very government who runs the military.

For a while in the late 80s and into the 90s, the military went to the 9mm for of shear economy. They found it lacked "knock-down" power, so some have reverted to the 45 ACP, while some embrace the .40 JHP as a relatively economial middle-ground, with sufficient punch.

I only had a couple of original 1911 autos. The 1911 A1 change was made 1921..just basicly an arched mainspring housing to soften recoil and took the edges off. Either in GI will set you back a bit. Now lonerider, the Marines are going back to it in new Colt upgrades. Serious piece but not for the faint at heart. Kiss your hearing good-bye.

Completely off-topic, and not meant to be offensive in any way (please don't take it that way), but the username formerlyphil makes me think you're a retired Punxsutawney groundhog.

No worries. I'm strange but harmless.

When we see what the new national police force is armed with...both power and firepower, we will understand the 2d amendment.
