Here's just a guess: Hall Elliot is Norm Carlson (notice how he's been missing lately) who's not allowed by his employer (a non-profit) to publish his "opinions" under his own name anymore lest they be construed as official positions.

chuck the chart is actually in the printed version of the PJ. the geniuses here haven't quite figured out how to incorporate a chart onto their website lol.

& agree (again!) with carlaw on this particular subject: hey joseph gobells' at the PJ how can you allow "elliot hall" to use a pseudonym but anybody else attempting to have a letter published to the PJ has to include their first & last name???
