Edwards needs to focus on the airport and county home mess. I would never vote for his as governor. I think he would be wasting his time in running. At this point I would not even run for him as County executor. The airport keeps losing money and he does nothing to solve the problem. He ones all his workers to be one big family and he does not look at what jobs could be eliminated.

You are wrong Busti. The losses at the airport have decreased 20% in the last two years. The airport can not be closed without paying back over $20M to the FAA and it would be privatized in a moment if anyone wanted it. The county home sale is in the hands of the legislature. If it were up to the county executive, it would have already been sold.

The county is struggling. It is maintaining DESPITE Mr. Edward's interference.I don't know whether to laugh hysterically or become ill at the thought of him running for governor. I didn't know his dad had THAT much money.

It is time for the newspaper to write a undated article on the situation at the airport. Tell us who is selling the gas and other things that the public needs to know. The airport just does not want to make things public so we can not really decide what should be done without knowing the facts. I do not think Edwards wants the facts known either. The airport does not have to close but it needs major changes and no one wants to talk about it. Get with it Edwards and take on the project. If you are not capable let someone else take your job.

Yep, a lot of them like to whine. If it's so terrible here, why not move? I didn't think so....

Edswards is up for election this year. So guess what his name get mentioned, people in the county loves it --- he wins reelection? He is the worst Co Exec we have ever had. Tries to buy union votes last time 3, 3, and 3% when wveryone else was getting zero's. Look at his record, highest welfare costs in the state, lowest welfare to work participation, finds, just finds, 10M in the bank. That on top of trying to raise the sales tax whenever he gets the chance. I've voted for him twice but not a thrid time.

Fuel is sold at the airport by the FBO leasee, Jamestown Aviation. They pay a small percentage of each sale to the county. This was negotiated 25-30 years ago and it is not something the administation can change. Jamestown Aviation has a binding contract.

Chuck Nazzaro and others headed up an airport task force a couple years ago and made the entire airport operation public. Where were you Busti? Call Chuck Nazzaro, I'm sure he can fill you in.
