"a 70 yr old" so you had time to check his ID when he was waving a gun and running you off the road? What color is your cape?

And this is why the 2ND AMENDMENT IS PERFECT. The law abiding citizens are more than happy to help keep the bad guys in check. Take away that 2A right and watch the men in blue really have their hands full.
And here it is! "law abiding citizens are more than happy to help keep the bad guys in check" I know this "check". My family was run off the road while on our way to chukie cheese(sp)last year. All I remember was a 70 year old screaming "you're speeding"... waving a pistol no less.

Funny...when it's somebody else, they usually describe them as a "ex soldier" Same as in the Korea/Vietnam era.

Wasn't just ten days ago that the PJ printed a picture of this officer in the paper as though he were a criminal. What were they thinking? Talk about adding stress to a person's life.

If it was same situation with anybody other than a local cop.....you would all be screaming to lock them up and throw away the key. Double standards for men in blue. Same latitude given by the police brotherhood when it comes to traffic violations, drinking and driving, and domestic abuse. Nobody forced or drafted them into police service, they choose it. Do ER doctors, or teachers get same sympathy?

I can't imagine the pressure on that early morning domestic disturbance call for help.

I couldn't agree more with the "entire" 7:51am opinion--well stated.

Speak for yourself, khulumzurug. The mental and physical health of our first responders should concern us all. They are our neighbors, family members, and friends. If you think it's so easy, apply! (No, I am not a cop nor the relative of one.)
