Allie, as my last post did not completely post, my question to you is how is my question to Monkeyboy 'hateful" as you remarked on 2-2 at 8: 44 AM?

GioAllie when you wrote, "I,ve not presented "my version of christianity" or any versionsir or ma'am -I find that remark most insulting. I posted nothing in referrence to "homophobes." Those are your words. I merely responded to a minister's letter," when and where did I make any reference to your version of Christianity? The reference I made was in reference to Monkeyboy's remarks. I wrote, "Monkey how is calling those who disagree with you homophobes, bigots and racists consistent with your liberal version of Christianity?" He judges me to be bigoted, intolerant and homophobic. When he calls me names like homophobe, bigot and other epithets, the question to him is: how is his use of these names and judgmental remarks consistent with his version of liberal Christianity which constantly tells others not to judge and to be more civil? He hasn't answered it yet after many requests for him to do so. How is a question like that to him "hateful&

I've been advised that the author of the hateful 6:22pm post and the author of the passionate letter are one and the same. Say it isn.t so.

Reverend, I see that a number of posters here question your passion on this issue----they must be those who agree that a debate must include only one side---theirs.

Bite your little tongue Section...I was cute as a button when I was 16. I still am all these years later! I don't know why people consider babies cute: they're mini variations of us, of mixed DNA...they'll evolve into kids, then adults, then old people. Those old people are still the same dreaded person they were when they were a baby, why aren't they considered "cute"?

Ask any kid on the street. Or for drugs. It will take you minutes to find what you want.

Reverend, I never dreamed a complement directed at you would result in a disagreement--but that seems to be the rule on this blog with some who we all know.

I conclude that the author is truly passionate about his position on this issue--everyone on both sides of women's rights and the rule of law should be.

@50s4ever, yes I have. I don't see ****** commercials on TV during prime time, but I see plenty of people jumping into bed with no mention of birth control and no unwanted pregnancies. I don't see characters wrestling with the question of whether to get an abortion. In Europe it's easy to get an abortion, but many fewer women do than here. Why do you think that's the case/

7, 12, and 16 year olds aren't as cute as babies. Their stories of abandonment and rejection which have torn their lives in two may not be as compelling as a photo of an unborn baby torn in two. They don't smell as nice or sound as adorable as a newborn or toddler. In fact sometimes their survival behavior is rather quite repelling...and so they continue sit and wait for those who 'speak for the children' to speak and act for them too. I hope those of you who cling firmly to choosing life will help these children whose mothers did. Wouldn't it be nice if every church and pastor in our community rallied as much for the born and neglected child as much as they do for the unborn? It's so easy to hold a sign; harder to hold a child whose mother chose life and then could not raise it. Please Rev. Mel and all who agree with his view.....speak and act for the born children too. They need you.
