At Serenade.......you really make yourself sound unstable and mental....you accuse everyone else! REALLY, they asked you not to sue..DO YOU REALIZE how absurd that sounds...Watch the SPCA shows....they do try to let the people keep a few and trim down and keep an eye on them! I agree with many on the Letters to the Editor...Your sentence wasn't harsh enough. As for the trial.....if you were innocent and they took your dogs illegally THEN YOU WOULDN'T have owed them a DIME!!! NOT BELIEVING YOU!!!! Count your blessings and move on.....starting to wander about the mental state that others are talking about! WOW!!!

To Mr Collie.. You have a point on one sentance.. that is it.. I do know who you are and I told you in a personal e mail what I thought.. You plead guilty when you are faced with 19,000 dollar boarding fee from teh spca AND MY LAWYER SUGGESTED THIS.. If we reopen the case with the evidence I have I would win hand down but this town with their lawyers one pads the others hand.. I can not afford to hire a retrial.. I WAS ADVISED TO PLEAD TO ONE COUNT.. an ear infection on a poodle... BIG DEAL really enough to seize 31 dogs.. Until you know what your talking about .. your blowing smoke you dont know the half of it.. I was NOT EVEN HERE WHEN MR Renaldo Muniz aho claims he is an investigator.. litterly came in here warning my hired help to stay out for two days.. So what the*****do you think two days with dogs not let out looks like.. THe guy was scared out of hhis wits by this idiot from SPCA so he left and never came back.. THey leave a Doberman here for 3 days no food or water...??

more proof you shouldnt have dogs. cant even understand what you are trying to say. matted coats do cause dogs pain. how many people helped you take care of those 31 dogs? pretty hard for a sick elderly woman to take care of 5 PROPERLY let alone 31.You say they didnt even wash them and then say they did but im a liar. ok. I have the "character" to own as many dogs as I can take care of which is 1 and I am not involved in this case at all except for knowing what the dogs looked like.Guess the control officer that took the 46 dogs in lockport this weekend is a thug too lol.

When your illnesses were discovered 2 years ago......it was your responsible to quit breeding and not expect everyone else to take your dogs!!! I am sure if your claims are true then the investigator will have to face his own music!!! Don't give me that crap about forcing you to plead guilty........you COULD have asked for a TRIAL....That is the law. If innocent you and you believed in your convictions then you would have ABSOLUTELY NOT plead guilty to anything. Not buying your claims.....you had a choice for a trial! PUPPY MILL PUPPY MILL PUPPY MILL.............. Aside from that hope you are well and no cancer and move on and MAKE IT ABOUT THE DOGS.....not the money! REALLY get out there and show your dogs....not just say you are showing! There is enjoyment in just having a few dogs and going to the dog shows....ENJOY what you were allowed to keep. Plus, your ranting and raving makes you sound and appear not credible!!!!!!!

Hey Serenade, you have no credibility now because you are wrong. Each one of those dogs had to be professionally groomed at a local shop because of the poor condition they were in. So know your facts before posting. They were in bad shape!

TO COLLIE.. If you were told by your attorney that you had to pay 19,000 dollars in board to the spca or plead guilty to ONE charge which was a minor ear infection that had been being treated before the SPCA convenscated the dogs and never let them out of a crate for over thirty days if they were so dirty would you not think they would have washed them...?? And not one was given a rabies?? while in there I find that strange that they wont produce the vet bills for anymore than a booster and advantage , I would think rabies would be number one on their list being around humans and other cats and dogs and if this breeder was such a careless breeder why did they not contact her vet/ Who has cared for her dogs for years/ Why did they leave a DOberman behind for three days no food or water who was lame with wobblers disease and not knowing when the defendent was coeing home from the hospital?? Strange isnt it.. You see the Dobe was no use to them she was not saleable!!

Such a shame with all the cruelty in Jamestown NY dogs sick , bones , lying in the cold.. that a certain person involved in this seizure has been running from trouble himself.. Mafia based...and he carries a gun pretending to be a officer of the law.. Lets get our priorities straight here.. Really.... lets hire someone with a half of brain at least for this job. But an employee from MacDonalds to conduct this???Better go back to burgers.

Ok....she has been pleading for people to help her on facebook for s SEVERAL YEARS concerning her health issues!! It was HER RESPONSIBILITY TO QUIT BREEDING!!!!!! Not everyone elses responsibility to take dogs. She was breeding designer dogs and collies.....litter after litter. It was appalling! Then to watch her pitiful post for people to buy these dogs or take them!! Just saying... illness equals quit breeding. It was all about the money not the dogs. Look up her website....claiming to be a reputable breeder!! Only she is accountable for her actions....not blaming the investigator, the SPCA, being railroaded and whatever else! If she was truly standing behind her convictions of innocence, she would not have plead guilty to ANY CHARGES. Or copped a plea deal! JUST SAYING! There had to be something to substantiate these charges.

I agree. I know how the dogs looked and you know her so all I have to say is dogs have rights and no person even if a breeder should be able to have more than 5 dogs unless they have a staff of people to care for them. Have a good day.

I do know first hand that they were in that condition and if as you say that she is 75 and in bad health then there is no way possible that she could take care of that many dogs. All I understand is that dogs should be treated better. Dont care about how SPCA acted during a situation that shouldnt have been occuring in the first place.

There are so many facts (I know this first hand) that I wish I could post on the front page, but here is limited space.....they were NOT in that condition. All I can say is if everyone out there witnessed what I witnessed with the SPCA and the control officer, you would be appalled and frightened. She is a 75 year old woman (in the hospital at the time) who was set up and the center profited well for it. One last input, in this so called "rescue", why did they they leave the family pet who has wobblers disease, in the house with no food or water for three days and ordered no one to enter the house??? Please take the time to understand, there is another side of this story and many many many people can back it up.

What about the facts that they were matted in urine and feces! that is no way for a dog to live even tho they were physical deemed healthy. They were in poor condition and not taken care of like the 5 she got back.

She was railroaded for the money those dogs would bring the humane society. The puppies taken first were up for sale next day healthy as can be! Fact...I saw vet report, all dogs were in good health. One was slightly under weight due to a recent litter. None were locked in cages, large fenced yard to roam, in at night in kennels like what they were in at center. Food was more than plentiful. Don't judge unless you know the facts...

Deb Manning First I must ask, why is there no option to comment, since there is always the option to do so on any article written?

Second, I wish you would have gathered the other side of the story. I was present in the courtroom and yes, those were in fact the charges. But they were most definitely not done voluntarily. The warrant to cease the animals was deemed "illegal" and was not submissable, nor was any so called evidence. The animal control officer (Mr. Munez...sp?)posed as a law enforcement officer and threatened not only Maureen, but neighbors, friends and family...and me myself when I refused to tell him any information on Maureen's where abouts (for the record, she was in Roswell Cancer Clinic having surgery to remove a grapefruit size tumor), with arrest personally by him. I spoke to a Lieutenant with the Busti Lakewood Police and was told that Mr. Munez had no law enforcement authority what so ever and there was no charges filed with the police.

Indeed. She should be locked up for a while. GioAllie will be close behind her when they learn that there are no constitutional rights to abuse animals.
